Item/Description: The Concierge, by American photographer Louis Stettner (1922-2016) depicts a French woman in a doorway, her expression wary. Titled and signed by artist, original stamp on back: Louis Stettner, Paris 1947. Louis Stettner was a renowned 20th Century American photographer of streetscapes, portraits and architectural images of New York and Paris. His works notable for capturing the reality and humanity of people and street life.
Material: Gelatin silver print, board, backing
Dimensions: Image size: Height: 14"; Width: 13 ".
Condition: Overall very good. Free of creases, dents, bends. Image crisp. Surface use and age wear includes areas of color loss at edges where image was cut to size, loss to black paper backing.
