Description
Item/Description: Antique Victorian era signet style gemstone ring. Fashioned as a rectangle from 10K gold. Bezel set with domed slice of carnelian. Beautiful, translucent shade of deep orange. Open back setting allows for maximal illumination. Mounted on a platform decorated with scroll work which continues down shanks. No visible hallmarks.
Material: 10K Gold ( tested), Carnelian
Dimensions: Crown Length: 7/8"; Width: 1/2"; size 6; approximately 3.4 grams
Condition: Good. Carnelian free of chips. Surface age and use wear includes scratches to stone and gold; loss at corner edge of bezel mounting; wear to decoration to shanks, patina.
