Description
Item/Description: Edwardian Art Nouveau era large crescent shaped brooch fashioned from gilt silver. Set along it’s entirety with graduating sizes of prong-set turquoise cabochon stones and paste accented sparkling leaves. Beautiful organic design resembles a bending branch. Mounting is open back and masterfully crafted. Roll-over pin clasp. No visible hallmarks.
Material: Gilt wash Silver (tested), turquoise, clear paste stones.
Dimensions: Length:6 "; Width: 1/2"; approximately 15 grams
Condition: Very Good. All stones present and intact, all prongs intact. Roll over clasp in good working order. Surface and age wear includes light scratches, darkened patina.
Age: Early 1900s.
