Item/Description: Sterling and coin silver earring lot consists of two pairs of clip earrings, two pairs of pierced earrings and one pair of screw-backs. Set with black onyx stones, Mother of Pearl. American and Taxco silversmiths. The two clip backs are set with shiny black onyx stones, one cabochon and one a flat round disc. Mountings are geometric and free-form. Hallmarked: JJ(Judith Jack); Sterling; 925 Mexico TA – 93.
The figural leaf screw back earrings are beautifully inlaid with Mothe of Pearl in raised slices. Hallmarked in part: Taxco Mexico 925.
The pierced earrings consist of a brutalist design pair, shaped as tear drops with a cut-out design and trio of dangle drops. Straight back posts with butterfly backs. Unmarked, but tested as Sterling Silver.
The dainty shepherd’s hook pair are fashioned from coin silver an feature a teardrop shaped onyx linked to an ornate c shaped frame of coiled silver, with dangle drops in graduating fringe design. Unsigned.

Condition: Overall very good. Signs of age, use and wear including a repaired crack to one onyx disc, with some chip loss, surface scratches, scuffs, patina.
