Elk?n) was born in Hungary in 1910 and died in Paris in 2007. He is considered among the great architectural photographers of the Twentieth Century. Angle of Eiffel tower from top looking down to base. Skillful use of light and shadow. Surrealist quality to image. On reverse: multiple stamps, handwriting include: artist studio stamp: Lucien Herve’; initials in pencil; a Life Magazine stamp, serial or inventory number and handwritten titles: " France- Cities- Paris-Eiffel Tower. "
