Item/Description: Civil War era W H Horstmann & Sons Foot Soldier’s Sword, Philadelphia Pa. Blade is etched with: W.H. Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia / foliate designs. Pierced brass guard is in standard configuration and with a sharkskin grip. (Officers Sword, US Navy)
