Item/Description: Unique studio artisan pearl necklace with cameo pendant. The strand is comprised of lustrous ovoid shaped freshwater pearls alternating with polished wine colored round garnets beads. Two piece clasp. Unmarked. Octagonal shaped cameo pendant in rhodium plated silver. Lacy pierce work mounting. Bezel set with exquisitely carved shell cameo in high relief. Right facing smiling beauty with upswept hair and flower accented collar. Fine details. Hanging bale with Art Nouveau style design. Roll-over clasp. Unmarked. We believe this necklace pendant is a "marriage": a merging of two separate pieces of jewelry.

Signs of age, use and wear including surface scratches, patina, slight gap in O ring that attaches cameo to bale, pin to brooch is missing.
