Description
Item/Description: This De Mario grouping consists of a signed multistrand choker necklace and an unsigned pair of clip earrings and a single baroque pearl choker strand. The ornate necklace is comprised of six hand-knotted strands of faux baroque pearl beads, alternating sizes with metal spacer beads. Turquoise colored beads appear in the strands culminating in an ornate three dimensional organic centerpiece of gilt metal leaves, buds and flowers on a gilt filigree mounting wired with turquoise glass and pearl beads and prong-set quality Austrian crystals. Jeweled push-in hidden clasp. Hallmarked: Robert De Mario. Exquisite example of De Mario workmanship.

Condition: Very Good. Knotting tight, pearls retain their luster nicely. No missing stones, beads to pendant portion. Wiring intact and tight. Clasp in good working order, depresses smoothly and clicks shut securely. Signs of age, use and wear including scratches, areas of oxidation, scuffing, discoloration.

The single strand choker is comprised of glossy large baroque faux pearls, hand-knotted necklace, rhinestone studded bar findings, extender portion and shepherd’s hook closure in silver tone metal. Unmarked.

The C shaped glittery clip earrings are gilt metal filigree mountings accented with prong-set Austrian crystals, glass faux pearls, gilded metal flower and vines in a three dimensional design with a large baroque pearl, which spins on a wire. Hinged clip back closures. Unmarked.

Condition: Good. No missing crystals. Clip backs in good working order. Signs of age, use and wear including missing pearl, scratches, scuffs, darkening to gilding, areas of nacre loss to pearls.
