Autumn 2021 Premier Pipe Auction
Lot 217:
Description
Item/Description: Here is an estate pipe by Ser Jacopo. It is stamped "dalla Gemma". The shank is stamped "925", indicating sterling silver.
Ser Jacopo began with two men, Bruto Sordini and Giancarlo Guidi, who in 1981 abandoned their former pipe making roots and struck out in search of their own success. They found it quickly, with their take on classical shapes mixed with new, opulent materials.
