Description
Item/Description: Two whimsical figural pins in Sterling Silver feature Scotty Dogs, Scottish Terriers. One Art Deco era brooch features a pair of Scotty dogs standing in profile. Textured finish mimics fur. Roll-over C-clasp. Hallmarked: "Sterling" in faded lettering. The second pin depicts a man in Eastern European attire and walking stick, a Scotty dog at his side. Roll-over pin clasp. Hallmarked: "Sterling / S" .
Material: Sterling Silver.
Dimensions: Double Scotty- Length: 2"; Width: 3/4"; approximately 12 grams. Man with Scotty- Length: 1 1/2"; Width 1"; approximately 6 grams.
Condition: Very Good. Surface wear and patina to both brooches. No dings or dents. Pin closures are in good working order and secure.
Age: 1930s-1940s.
Provenance: Private Estate.
