Description
Item/Description: Ornate, domed medallion shaped brooch set with four deep green cabochon Eilat stones (also called King Solomon stones) separated by silver arches. Surface decorated with florettes and beadwork. Scalloped edges. Open pierce-work floral center ringed by seed pearls and a tiny turquoise colored stone. Fine Middle Eastern craftsmanship and design. Unusual combination of stones and color. Roll-over C clasp and soldered hanging bail. Hallmarked: 925 ISRAEL.
Material: Sterling Silver, Eilat Stone, Seed Pearls.
Dimensions: 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"; approximately 20 grams.
Condition: Very Good. All stones intact without chips or cracks; dark patina to silver. Clasp and hanging loop in good working order,
Age: 1950s-1970s.
