Item/Description: Rare heart shaped Art Nouveau repousse buckle depicting a beauty in profile with hair flowing. Flowers and stars around border. Hallmarked on back: N-48 and a round cartouche with indecipherable markings. Possibly European in origin. (Antique accessory).
Material: Pewter.
Dimensions: 2"L x 2"W.
Condition: Very Good. Surface and use wear; hook portion appears partially worn away. Hinge swings freely.
Age: Circa late19th-Early 20th Century.
Provenance: Private Estate.
