Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Southwestern Tortoise Turtle Ring Inlaid Stones Size 5. This vintage, circa 1970’s-80’s Southwestern ring is in very good condition. There is surface wear and some tarnish to the silver, as shown. Hand-wrought as a turtle or tortoise, the shell is comprised of inlaid slices of genuine turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and onyx. All stones are intact and free of damage. The workmanship is typical of jewelry from Mexico. There appears to be a stamp on the outside band but is indecipherable. The ring tests as Sterling Silver. It is approximately a size 5 on our ring sizer and weighs 8.7 gms. Provenance: Private Estate.
