Vintage "NYE" Stuart Nye 925 Sterling Silver Dogwood Flower Cuff Bracelet This pretty cuff is in very good condition with a wonderful dark patina to the silver, as shown. It features a single center Dogwood flower mounted on a sterling silver cuff. Stuart Nye, a self taught American silversmith, began fashioning jewelry in the 1930’s with an eye toward the beauty of nature; incorporating flowers and leaves into his designs. This bracelet circa 1960’s-70’s is a wonderful example of his work. It measures approximately 5 1/2" long (outer circumference) and 2"wide (inner) and weighs 9 gms. Due to its open nature, it can accommodate a small to medium wrist. It is stamped "Nye Sterling" in two places and bears the artist’s hallmark logo. Provenance: Private Estate.
