Item/Description: Military sword with signed tang (signature unknown). Features include a sharkskin and wood handle (tsuka) with silk wrapping, a steel blade, and a tsuba with markings. The hilt is further accented with ornamental bronze fuchi (collar) and kashira (pommel cap). Based on the style and construction, this appears to be an older ancestral blade that was remounted in military fittings for World War II service.
