Item/Description: Signed, numbered ( 1/70 ) and hand colored etching "Le Bal du Comte d’Orgel’ (The Count d’Orgel’s Ball), Plate 3 from the French novel Le Bal du Comte d’Orgel by Raymond Radiguet.
Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) was a prominent French artist, poet, filmmaker, and playwright, widely recognized for his contributions to the avant-garde movement in the 20th century.
